The Certification process

Signing the Agreement

The agreement means that Safehotels Alliance AB and the Venue has agreed upon establishing an action plan, which will result in a Certificate.

Pre-Audit

To be able to write an action plan, a pre-audit must be conducted immediately after signing the agreement.

The pre-audit report

The result from the "blanco audit", will generate a written report. Based upon the result, an action plan including a time plan will be created. Safehotels will supply support documents.

The second audit, the certification

Audit number two, the certification procedure, will be conducted when the hotel and/or conference venue and Safehotels's consultant finds the venue ready and the necessary changes stated in the action plan has been completed.

The delivery of Report and Certificate

The final goal is reached. The establishment is now certified according to "The Global Hotel Security Standard" © The decision of which Certificate level - Safehotels Certificare or Safehotels Premium Certificate - is finalized at this point. See separate description of these levels.

An annual audit

The venue is audited on a yearly basis. Safehotels will also conduct visits throughout the year, this to control and secure the process.
